This small town on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus is very walkable, with nice beaches, an excellent variety of food and a laid-back atmosphere that is as pleasant and welcoming as an island should be. Life here may seem somewhat quiet but there's an active group of remote workers who meet up regularly and the beaches and cafes are often full. The reasonable cost of living makes Larnaca an excellent value and there's enough nightlife, from pubs to clubs, to keep one entertained on the weekends. With an entire island to explore, it's easy to hire a car and travel to other interesting towns, even for the day. All of the above is exactly why Larnaca has become the home base for many remote workers.
