What are the best cafes for remote workers in Chiang Mai?

There are so many fantastic cafes for remote workers in Chiang Mai that you will certainly want to visit them all. Located right in the heart of the Old City, My Secret Cafe in Town is certainly one of the best cafes for remote workers in Chiang Mai. This cafeโ€™s food and coffee come highly recommended by other remote workers in town, and the wifi is said to be reliable and with good speeds for the city (around 14 Mbps down). My Secret Cafe in Town hosts live music nights every Tuesday and has a loyal regular crowd of expats and remote workers who come together here to hang out, drink coffee and work together. The space itself is beautiful and welcoming with useful working tables and comfy couches.


Rustic & Blue

This cafe/restaurant, located between Nimmanhaenim and the Old City in the Santitam area, is often on the list of best cafes for remote workers in Chiang Mai for its excellent food and coffee. The wifi here is reported to be a little slower than at other places, but still adequate if you need basic speeds. Rustic & Blue prides itself in offering organic, local foods and has excellent vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. It is easy to reach from anywhere in the city and offers both indoor and outdoor seating options.


Cozy Coffee Chiang Mai

This will be by far the best cafe for remote workers in Chiang Mai looking to work outside for a few hours. Offering good food, coffee, and great wifi Cozy Coffee is located just south of the Old City and boasts beautiful indoor seating areas as well the chance to work outdoors in the vast courtyard available. This cafe/bistroโ€™s desserts and vegetarian options are to die for!


Ombra Caffe

Hidden away in the popular area between Santitam and Nimmanhaenim, Ombra Caffe is the cafe serving the eccentric Pyur Hotel. This mini-hotel offers only 8 rooms, each with distinct styles for all tastes and budgets. The coffee-shop itself is wonderfully-designed and the excellent wifi speeds make it by far one of the very best cafes for remote workers in Chiang Mai. Ombra will make you feel comfortable in one of its many comfy seats while you enjoy fast wifi at around 60 Mbps up and 20 Mbps down. The food here also comes highly-recommended!
